State level training on electoral process held in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MAY 2: As a capacity building initiative, a daylong training program on Ero Net (Version 2.0) was today conducted by Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, in Srinagar.

          The Electoral Registration Officers, Deputy District Election Officers, State level master trainers, District level master trainers of all districts of Kashmir valley including Leh and Kargil participated in the training programme.

The programme was conducted at Banquet Hall, Srinagar in which the training was given on the different aspects of voter’s registration and the other concerned aspects of the election process.

The necessary training about National Voter’s Service Portal was imparted and the know-how about the new tools and methods about the process of filling forms were given to the trainees, which was followed by a question and answer session.

          The training was imparted by the officials from Election Commission of India and some senior officials by state-level master trainers of chief electoral office.
