Srinagar, Mar 17: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Saturday postponed
all scheduled examinations as a precautionary measure following killing of two
militants in an encounter with security forces in outskirts of the Srinagar
city in the wee hours on Friday
An official of the university said that all examinations, which were scheduled to be held today, in the university campus at Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama have been postponed. The university had postponed all examinations on Friday also.
He said the new date for the postponed examinations will be announced later. The IUST has so far postponed about half a dozen papers due to unrest in south Kashmir during the past two weeks. UNI
