Corporation empowerment is key to grass root level progress: Arun

Jammu, Oct 03: Arun Kumar Gupta State Vice-President BJP and Prabhari Reasi District has put the previous governments in J&K solely responsible for not allowing the process of empowerment at grass root level, and then ensuring the elections of Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections, do not take place and thereby have done gross injustice to the aspirations of the citizens of the state.

Addressing the party meeting, while campaigning for BJP candidate in Jammu, Gandhi Nagar Constituency said that BJP has always stood for empowering the society which is the basic fundamental of society and is the need of every citizen so that the progress takes place at all levels of governance.

Describing Congress as a party, working purely o opportunism and becoming the part of anti-National forces in the state, had made so much of confusion, by not accepting conduct of elections in time and at last moment were forced by their own party cadre to give go ahead.

Arun Gupta said that this is very clear that Congress has no interest for empowering people and only working to suit their end goals, which have always been against people.

While campaigning for BJP Candidates Neeraj Puri, ward no. 54, JMC, hailed him as a young and dynamic candidate asking the people that they need leader of grass root level working for JMC.

Arun Gupta further made appeal to the citizen of the area to come out in huge number and make the democratic process of governance a reality and defeat anti-national faces, who have taken the entire system for a ride far so many years, by not allowing the people to exercise their choice of selecting candidates for their requirements which has been affecting them day in and day out.
