Media interaction held at Doda

DODA, SEPTEMBER 13: District Information Officer, Doda, Mohammad Ashraf Wani today held an interactive session with members of media fraternity here today in which Journalists working with several media organizations participated.

The DIO appreciated the role of media in highlighting the developmental activities of the Government and keeping the people abreast with the major happenings across the world.

He appealed the media persons to create an atmosphere of constructive journalism so that mass awareness regarding the various social evils prevailing in the society could be disseminated to the people.

Various issues including the setting up of a Press Club at Doda, timely intimation about the VIP visits besides timely issuance of security passes among other problems being faced by media persons were discussed during the interaction session.

The DIO assured the media persons that all their genuine demands will be taken up to the concerned authorities for the redressel and sought their cooperation in highlighting various issues of public importance.
