Jammu, Sept 24: A delegation of District Council, Samadhaan Foundation under the leadership of Pawan Sharma, it's Chief Patron, BJP senior leader and Member Monitoring Committee For Minority Education, MHRD, Government of India met with DC Ramban at District Administrative Complex Maitra Ramban.

During discussions Pawan Sharma discussed a range of issues concerning people of District Ramban, which include unemployment of local youth, condition of road connectivity linking various far flung areas with district headquarters, transport facilities to local people and students of the area.

Pawan Sharma apprised DC Ramban that being hilly district, where main occupation of the people is agriculture and it's allied activities which requires improvement in functioning and establishment of more animal & Sheep husbandry units in district Ramban.
Keeping in view the tourism potential of different areas in district Ramban Pawan Sharma stressed up on the need for establishment of Gool, Sarvadhaar and Ramban development authorities in district Ramban. Sharma also stressed upon the need to establish branches of Cultural and Sports India in Ramban, keeping in view the need and opportunity to the local youth.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier Pawan Sharma has addressed a series of meetings, including district council meeting of "Samadhaan Foundation" , a cultural, educational and charitable organization at Ramban.

During these meetings discussions were held on various issues concerning people and youth of the area.

Pawan Sharma stressed upon the district as well as state authorities to give priority to local youth in various developmental projects like Railway, Four ways and Hydroelectric projects running in district Ramban.

On this occasion a memorandum of demands was also submitted by the members of District council of Samadhaan Foundation to DC Ramban in the presence of Pawan Sharma.

Earlier Pawan Sharma also met with CMO and other district officials of Ramban.

Among other who accompanied the delegation includes Farooq Ahmed, Ajeet Singh, Abdul Hamid & Pardeep Singh.
