Municipal Polls-2018
GANDERBAL,
SEPTEMBER 24: The District Election Officer (DEO), Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush
Singla today reviewed the security arrangements to be made for the conduct
of Municipal Elections – 2018 in the district.
The meeting was
attended by SSP Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal, all ROs, AROs, officers of Army
and Police department, besides other officers of district Administration.
Threadbare
discussions were held regarding security action plan to be put forth during the
election process in the meeting.
The security
agencies assured foolproof security arrangements for the candidates and
voters will be put in place to ensure smooth and incident free elections in the
district.
Further the DEO directed all the concerned to work according to the
directions issued by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) to ensure smooth and
fair elections in the district.
