BUDGAM,
SEPTEMBER 24: The Health Department Budgam today started Measles-Rubella
vaccination campaign across the district.
ADC
Budgam Khurshid Ahmad Shah presided over a vaccination function held at GBHS
Ompora Budgam in collaboration with ICDS and Education Department Budgam.
Among
others, the programme was attended by CMO Budgam, Dr GM Dar, CEO Rouf A
Shahmiri, DHO, Dr Raina, Headmistress BHS Ompora and other concerned.
The ADC
said that all schools must prepare a schedule and communicate with the parents
about the vaccination.
On the
occasion, a large number of children and students were vaccinated on spot by
the technical and trained staff.
Similar vaccinations programmes were also organized across the district
at Sub- District and Tehsil levels. Concerned SDMs and Tehsildars presided over
the functions.
