KARGIL, Aug 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary and BJP’s Incharge for Ladakh Region, Yudhvir Sethi today launched social media campaign for Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil which is going to polls on August 27 where BJP candidates have filed their nomination papers. While launching the campaign those present on the occasion were urged to reach out to masses and make them aware of programmes and policies of party that are aimed at developing hilly areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said ever since BJP came to power, special focus has remained on Ladakh region where Prime Minister Narendra Modi intends to build an all-weather road that will make the region connected to rest of world round the year. The project has been given a go ahead and work is going to commence and even completed in record period.
He said people of Kargil have contributed a lot during Kargil war and deserve what's due to them in shape of better infrastructure and other developmental activities. He said victory of BJP candidates in LAHDC Kargil will be the victory of people who will be writing their fate themselves.
Appreciating the youth of Kargil and party workers for launching social media campaign on different social networking sites, the BJP general secretary said this medium is best to reach people at large and they can be made aware of programmes of party as well.
He asked party workers to work hard and strengthen BJP so that a credible government and other institutions are set up in Jammu and Kashmir which has been condemned by previous governments for their vested interests.

BJP State State Social Media & IT, Jaidev Rajwal also deliberated the BJP activists on the various technical facts on the matter. He threw light on proper way to use social media and for utilizing it the maximum extent in the elections to secure win for the party. He said that through the medium of social media, the immediate as well as constant touch is retained overthe targeted population.
