01: To review the progress of e-governance and
success of CSC oriented Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Sakshrata Abhiyaan
(PMGDISHA) in district Pulwama a meeting was today convened at DC office
Complex Pulwama.
The meeting was
attended by Joint Director Planning Ghulam Muhammad, Assistant Commissioner
Development, Munnawar Ahmed, State head CSC e-governance Farooq Renzu Shah,
Block Development officers, Zonal Education Officers, Principals of Various
educational Institutes and other concerned officials.
The meeting was
informed that 5600 students have passed the certification course under PMGDISHA
program in the district, while as two months internship course is being started
for graduate and postgraduate students who have already passed certification
course under PMGDISHA.
Speaking on the
Occasion, State head CSC e-governance Renzu Shah complimented district
administration Pulwama for yielding respectable results in computer literacy
program inspite of various challenges. He said that under CSC e-governance
numerous services under different sectors and fields including that of health,
tele law, legal literacy, skill, e-vahaan, etc have been successfully launched
in J&K State.
While setting the
target of 10000 more students for registration and certification by 20th
of August, Joint Director Planning said that under PMGDISHA scheme large number
of students and employees of the district are able to take benefit of this
prestigious computer literacy program.
