Eid ul Fitr arrangements reviewed in Doda

DODA, JUNE 06: District Development Commissioner Doda Bhawani Rakwal today reviewed arrangements for Shab-e-Qadr and upcoming festival of Eid ul Fitr here at a meeting of   district officers.

The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Parihar, SSP PB Singh, ACR Tariq Hussain Naik, Xen PDD, ACD Doda, Tehsildar Doda besides other district officers.

The DC discussed in detail the arrangements being put in place by the administration for smooth conduct of the religious festival.

The Police department was asked to ensure proper security arrangement in the town especially around Eidgah on Eid as well on the night of Shab-e-Qadr.

Xen PDD was directed to avoid curtailment at Iftaar, Sehri and prayer times and ensure uninterrupted supply on the day of Eid. PHE department was asked to ensure adequate supply of water in the town with uninterrupted supply to Eidgah on the Eid.

To ensure hassle free movement of vehicles and people on Eid, Police department was directed to frame traffic management plan and ensure its regulation by deploying sufficient number of personnel in the town.

The DC directed to intensify market checking of quality, quantity and prices of essential commodities. 

To tackle any medical emergency, Health Deptt was impressed upon to keep the ambulance along with doctors and medicines ready.

The EO Municipality was asked to intensify   sanitation and install dustbins at suitable places in the town.

Other Arrangements including the Stock and supply of ration, LPG Cylinders, fire tenders were also reviewed and necessary directions were passed to the concerned.
