DC Poonch visits Eidgah

Reviews arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers

POONCH, JUNE 13: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mohammed Aijaz Asad along with Executive Officer Municipal Council, Executive Engineer of PHE and other officials of concerned departments on Wednesday visited Eidgah, Poonch to review the arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr Prayers.

DC took stock of basic facilities being provided  by the concerned department with regard to sanitation, uninterrupted water and power facilities and other civil works of cleanliness in and around the Eidgah.

During the visit, Deputy Commissioner issued on spot directions to the concerned officers as well as to the field staff for ensuring proper sanitation in and around Eidgah and Jamia Masjids/Imambargah where Eid prayers will be held. He also called for cleanliness of lanes and bye lanes leading to all mosques and marking with lime routes leading to places of congregational prayers.

Addl SP Anwar ul Haq, Administrator Auqaf Poonch, Rayaz Atish and Chairman and members of the Eidgah Committee were among others were present on the occasion.
