Training programme for Hajj pilgrims held in Kargil

KARGIL, MAY 11: The State Hajj Committee in collaboration with district administration Kargil conducted a day-long training programme for the Hajj pilgrims of the district at Conference Hall Baroo here today.

During the training programme, which was spread over two sessions, the pilgrims were enlightened in detail about rituals and other necessary observance to be observed during Hajj at Mekkah.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Imteeaz Kacho, several officers of the civil administration and trainers were also present on the occasion.

Seventy-four Hajj pilgrims, including 24 females and 50 males, from different parts of the district attended the training programme.

This was the first phase of the training program being held for the pilgrims of the district for Hajj this year. The second phase is scheduled to be held after Ramzan.
