Market checking intensified at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MAY 18:  In view of holy month of Ramdhan, intensive market checking was conducted today by enforcement team here in the main town area.

         The team seized and destroyed rotten vegetables, fruits and dairy items on the spot.

         The defaulters were asked to maintain   required quality standards and refrain from overcharging. The meat and poultry shops were also inspected and the owners were   directed to maintain proper hygienic, use Digital Weighting Machines and abide by the rates fixed by the government. 

        The inspection team included Tehsildar Shokat Hayat Mattoo, SHO Sameer Jeelani, Food Safety Officer Rajni Bhagat and Sanitary Inspector Vinod Kumar.
