Pune, Apr 4: A 30-year-old woman has been arrested by customs officials at Pune International Airport here on Friday for allegedly smuggling around three kg gold worth Rs one crore, police said.
The woman was identified as Rehana Faizan Ahmed Khan. She was smuggling gold through a bag attached to synthetic rubber paste. The officials of the customs department arrested her from the airport here this 
afternoon.
The value of the gold is around Rs 1 crore, said officials. The woman is a resident of Kurla area in Mumbai. She arrived in Pune from Jet Airways flight from Abu Dhabi. The Customs Department at the Pune airport is investigating the matter. UNI
