Cloudy morning in Delhi; light rains expected

New Delhi, May 30 : Delhiites today woke up to a partly cloudy morning with the minimum temperature settling at 29.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

The weatherman has predicted light rain coupled with gusty winds later in the day. 

The humidity level recorded at 8.30 am was 56 per cent. 

"The skies will remain partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light rains with strong winds later in the day," an official of the MeT department said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius, he said.

Yesterday, the mercury soared to 44.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 25.9 degrees Celsius.PTI
