BJP State Minority Morcha holds working committee meeting

Jammu, may 12: In order to review its functioning in the state and plan the future strategy, BJP State Minority Morcha led by its State President Sadiq Khan held its working committee meeting at BJP State headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.

The working committee was graced by the presence of BJP State President & Minister for housing & Urban Development Sat Sharma along with State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Harinder Gupta, State Secretary Sanjay Baru and Vice-Chairperson Balbir Ram Rattan.

While addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma threw light on the achievements of Centre and State Governments. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led the Nation on the developmental path and the common mass today want to connect with the BJP owing to its people friendly policies. He said that in the last 4 years of good governance provided by the NDA, not even a single case of corruption has surfaced which is the trademark of high standards by organization, while working with the aim of “Nation First, Party Second and Self Last”. He said that due to the popularity of the Modi led Government, the opposition rendered clueless.

Ashok Kaul, while throwing light on the organizational matters, sought detailed reports of various organizational and developmental works pursued by the Morcha leaders during past months. He asked Morcha leaders to conduct regular meetings for the smooth functioning of Morcha. He also prompted them to take the government schemes specially intended for the weaker sections to the people so that the genuine problems of the population be targeted.

Dr. Narinder Singh, threw light on importance of various Morchas for extension of party activities into society. He said that Morcha leaders have specific responsibility to serve communities they are representing. He emphasized that Morcha leaders have moral responsibility to educate communities on various matters.

Harinder Gupta threw light on the role of Working committee meetings in the smooth functionin of the organization he said that working committee helps to review all the projects undertaken by the Morcha during the last months and discuss the various forthcoming programmes of the Morcha.

Balbir Ram Rattan acquainted the Morcha leaders with the various welfare schemes of the SC, ST, BC Corporation specifically targeted for the weaker sections and prompted them to take the maximum benefits out of them.

Sadiq Khan in his Presidential address, threw light on the works and the projects undertaken by the Morcha. He said that the BJP today enjoys the support of all sections through the length and the breadth of the Nation. He said that only BJP follows the true internal democracy in letter and spirit, where everybody is heard and given due representation.

Stage proceedings were conducted by Morcha State Vice-President S. Avtar Singh.
