Udaipur, May 12: Subhasis Bandyopadhyay, SDM Udaipur subdivision told that it has counted 39 Homesteads were fully damaged and another 160 were partially affected due to thunderstorm under Udaipur subdivision. 
He said that the compensation would be given to all victims after inspection. 
The officers are inspecting the damages. He also said the departments are doing level best to give compensation to people as early as possible.
Not only homestead but also robber trees, agricultural land, agricultural productions and fishery ponds were affected in Bhadaripathra and South Rani area under Udaipur subdivision. It is the primary report of officers that at least 200 families were affected due to thunderstorm and rainfall.
Jiten Majumder, a farmer of Mirja area has informed that a total of 85 rubber trees were damaged in his robber garden. 
He critically loosed a good amount of profit that he may earn from his robber garden. There is no rule of compensation for the damaged rubber trees, the farmers who are doing robber garden will not get the benefit from the government.
The department of agriculture inspected the damage areas and submitted report to the apex authority for the compensation of farmers. The department informed that the farmers would get the benefit from government as early as possible after completing the official process. UNI
