Puducherry, Apr 19: Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayansamy on Thursday demanded that the Tamil Nadu government initiate action against BJP national secretary H Raja for his adverse comments against DMK leaders Karunanidhi and Kanimozhi.
Talking to news persons on the sidelines of a college function here, the Chief Minister described Raja as a “cheap” politician and that by criticising leaders of other political parties he is trying to capture a place in the minds of the people.
He said the prevailing issue in Tamil Nadu could not be diverted by any efforts taken by Raja.
Mr Narayansamy said cash crunch is being experienced in the country due to the wrong economic policy of the BJP government. The Centre should shoulder responsibility for this situation, he said, adding that he would write to the Union Finance Ministry about the non-availability of cash in ATMs in the union territory. UNI
