Apr 2: Meteorological Department warned thunderstorm accompanied with
gusty winds and hail storm is likely to occur at isolated places in the
districts Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Guntur and Prakasam of
Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours.
In a bulletin here on Monday, it said that the same situation will prevail at
isolated places in all the districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
As per media reports hailstorm occurred in parts of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Khammam Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Warangal and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius was recorded at Anantapur of Rayalaseema, while 41 deg cel was recorded at Adilabad of Telangana during the same period, the bulletin said. UNI
