Rupee up by 29 paise against USD

Mumbai, Apr 2: The Rupee on Monday jumped by 29 paise to 64.88 in opening trade on fresh selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.

The local unit moved up owing weak dollar against other world currencies and positive opening in stock market, dealers said.
It registered a intra day's high and low at 65.30 and 64.87 respectively, they added. UNI
