New Delhi, Apr 2: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday saluted the thousands of Dalits who
were on the streets for the 'protection' of their rights.
In a post on social media, Mr Gandhi said, 'It
is in the DNA of the BJP and the RSS to keep the Dalits on the lowest rung of
society. Those who challenge this are oppressed through the use of
violence.
Thousands of Dalits are today protesting on the streets to demand from the Modi government protection of their rights. We salute all of them.’’
