Thane, Apr 3: With the arrest of one more police constable from Assam, a total of police personnel arrested in the CDR racket has gone to two, the city police crime branch officials said.
Sr PI Nitin Thackre informed the Thane court that the probe into the CDR case was progressing and they are seeking assistance of mobile service providers to trace, those involved in the racket.
In the course of the same they hit upon a CDR and traced it to a mobile number from Assam and finally informed their counter part at Assam who last week arrested the police constable.
The name of the police constable arrested was Bhubaneshwar Das attached to the Haflong police station. 
He had illegally procured the CDR which was found in possession of one of the arrested accused in Thane the
police said. The constable was working in the cyber cell of the police force and they are considered to be SMEs in the force.
Another police man to be arrested was police constable attached to Yavatmal police Nitin Khawade (29) who was also attached to the Cyber Cell of the police and who had easy access to the data.
His name came up during the interrogation of the accused arrested in the infamous case.
There are a total of a dozen persons arrested in this case and most of them are in custody presently and the only renown ones to be held in the case are the first lady private detective in the country Rajani Pandit and Advocate Rizwan Siddiqui who appears for most of the Bollywood stars. 
Incidentally, both Pandit and Siddiqui are out presently. UNI
