New Delhi, Apr 11: A fire broke out after an LPG cylinder exploded at Lajpat nagar central market,
here injuring a fire officer.
According to fire department, a call was
received regarding the fire at fourth floor of a jeweller's building at Lajpat
Nagar 2 wherein the cylinder exploded.
Around ten fire tenders had to be pressed into service and the blaze was brought under control in an hour at around 0950 hrs.
The injured was identified as Om Prakash Anand who received burns on face and hand.
Mr Anand was rushed to Safdarjung, from where, he was referred to Agrasen hospital. UNI
