New Delhi, Apr 2: Continuing with the process of the restructuring of the party, Congress
president Rahul Gandhi on Monday appointed Mr Anugrah narayan Singh as the AICC
incharge for Uttarakhand and senior Gujarat leader Shaktisinh Gohil as the AICC
incharge for Bihar in place of incumbent C P Joshi.
According to a release by AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot,
'Congress president Rahul Gandhi has appointed Anugrah narayan Singh as the
AICC incharge for the Uttrakhand State.'
In another release, Mr Gehlot said, 'Congress president Rahul Gandhi has appointed Mr Shaktisih Gohil as the AICC incharge for the Bihar state in place of Dr C P Joshi.
The party appreciates the contribution and hard work of Dr C P Joshi, who is relieved from the charge of the General secretary incharge for Bihar.'
Earlier in the week, Mr Gandhi had appointed youth leader Rajeev Satav as the AICC incharge for Gujarat and former Union Minister Jitendra Singh as the AICC incharge for Odisha in place of Mr B K Hariprasad.
The appointments are seen as part of the restructuring of the party organisation, wherein a large number of young faces are being inducted into the party organisation as promised by the Congress president at the recently held AICC plenary session. UNI
