Mysuru,
Mar 31: BJP President Amit Shah on Saturday told Karnataka Chief Minister
Siddaramaiah that unleashing violence on BJP/RSS workers cannot stall the
spread of saffron ideology.
Addressing pressmen here on the second day of his visit to
old Mysuru area to boost the BJP chances in the May 12 Assembly elections he
said "I am confident that BJP will win in Karnataka. I have traveled all
over the state and people who have been waiting for development were frustrated
with corruption. Congress and corruption go hand-in-hand, so much so that their
relationship is like fish and water and this has been extended by the
Siddaramaiah government'.He aid the ' people of Karnataka have made up their mind to replace Mr Siddaramaiah. Karnataka government is an ATM of corruption. How can someone call farmers's suicides a conspiracy? I have decided to give Rs 10 crore to poor families and Rs 5 lakh as health insurance".
He said though the State was driven by a strong IT sector it still did not get 24-hour electricity. Implementation of central schemes were also declining and more than 3500 farmers have committed suicide in this region. 'In terms of development, all parameters are going down" he added.
Strongly reacting to Mr Siddaramaiah's recent communication to the Finance Commission about injustice met to southern states in allocation of funds by the 14th Finance Commission he said in a federal structure the expenditure of major sectors including army has to born by the centre from the funds received from all the state.
