Mar 13: The issue of suicide by a college student – who was vexed by
molestation – in the Madhya Pradesh capital today echoed in the state Assembly.
Raising the issue in Zero Hour, Mr Ramniwas Rawat (principal-opposition
Congress) said that the whole city was agitated over the matter. Likewise, a
seven-year-old girl and a doctor were subjected to molestation. Such incidents
came to fore in Indore as well.
Mr Rawat said that women in the state are insecure. He has submitted a notice for discussing the issue through an adjournment motion. Speaker Sitasaran Sharma assured that he would look into it. UNI
