New Delhi, Mar 22: The management of the Indian Wheelchair Cricket team -- which will play against Bangladesh on April 3 and 4 at the Goregaon Sports Club, Mumbai -- have approached Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to be the voice and face of the Indian team.
'The team management and the organisers Nevada Putnam Foundation have also approached Salman's bodyguard and good friend Shera to ensure that Bhai comes on board along with the NGO 'Being Human',' sources said.
Several Bollywood film and TV stars will come together in a tremendous show of support for the first international wheelchair cricket match series to be held in Mumbai next month. 
At least six former Bigg Boss contestants have confirmed their participation, the sources said.
The visiting Bangladesh wheelchair cricket team is endorsed by the Bangladesh Cricket Association, the official national cricket body of the country.
Film and TV stars are not just expected to grace the event with their presence, but will also participate in a friendly cricket match between the winning team of the India-Bangladesh wheelchair series.
According to the organizers, 11 Bollywood well-known actors will play a friendly match on April 4 to show their solidarity with the wheelchair cricket players.
Ace Bollywood playback singer Shabab Sabri has already volunteered to sing the theme song for the series. UNI
