Rupee down by 14 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 19: The Rupee on Monday tumbled down by fourteen paise to 65.07 in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.

Rupee registered a intra day's high and low at 65.08 and 64.99 respectively, dealers said.
The local unit remained weak owing to strong dollar against other world currencies, they added. UNI
