Amaravati Mar 19: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the clandestine tie-up between the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and the BJP was exposed and people understood the same.
The Chief Minister held a teleconference with party MPs and other senior leaders here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he told the MPs that moving No-Confidence motion against BJP-led NDA government in the Lok Sabha by the TDP led to National debate on the injustice, meted out to the state by the Centre. He told them that several parties had come forward extending solidarity to the TDP.
He asked the TDP MPs to ensure that No Confidence motion is moved in the house. Mr Naidu also directed them to continue to register protest, if the house was adjourned without taking up the issue.
The Chief Minister pointed that the Congress party in its plenary announced that it would accord Special Category Status (SCS) to AP, if voted to power. When the Opposition Congress had announced SCS to AP, what is the objection for the BJP led Centre to it, Mr Naidu asked.
YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy’s kneeled down before Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was clearly indicating that the YSRCP-BJP clandestinely tied up for political mileage. The YSRCP leaders were trying to mortgage the interests of the state by joining hands with the Centre to get rid of corruption cases, he charged.
“BJP is trying to get No Confidence motion moved by one party and trying to make another party agitated to get the House adjourned. There No question of compromising with the interests of AP. All the 19 assurances of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 should be honoured” Mr.Naidu said. UNI
