Omar takes jibe at Biswa

Srinagar, Mar 25  Reacting to BJP leader and the chief architect of the party’s rise in the northeast, Himanta Biswa Sarma’s comment on Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Jammu and Kashmir former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said politics in India has too many good politicians, but not nearly enough good human beings.
“Politics in India has too many good politicians but not nearly enough good human beings,” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to Mr Sarma’s comment that the Congress president may be a good human being, but he is not cut out to be a politician.
Mr Abdullah said ''speaking purely for myself, if being a good human being and a good politician are mutually exclusive, I’ll choose to be a good human being any day of the week''.UNI
