Leaders from Opposition parties to meet Prez to share their concern on SC order on SC/ST Act

New Delhi, Mar 28: Leaders from opposition parties will meet President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday evening to share their concerns on the Supreme court ruling in the SC/St Act, Congress president Rahul Gandhi said on Wednesday.

'The Supreme Court ruling diluting provisions of arrest in the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act comes in the backdrop of growing atrocities against Dalits and Adivasis across India. Leaders from opposition parties will meet President Kovind this evening to share their concerns,'the Congress president said in a tweet.
Congress has expressed concern on the Apex court order on the Act and has urged the government to file a review petition in the court. UNI
