Ranchi, Mar 24: A
special CBI court here on Saturday sentenced former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu
Prasad Yadav to seven years' of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 60-lakh
on him in the Fodder Scam case number RC38A96.
The court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh awarded the
punishment to Mr Yadav through video-conferencing.
The case was related to fraudulent withdrawal of fund worth Rs 3.76-cr from Dumka treasury of unified Bihar.
The CBI court had earlier convicted a total of 19 accused in the case including Lalu. UNI
