Chitrakoot, Mar 25 : Five persons died on the spot while four others severely injured when a van dashed into stationary truck in Barhad area here on National Highway 76 on Sunday.
According to police, few residents of Mauranipur Jhansi were going for holy dip at Sangam in Allahabad when their van lost control and dashed into a stationary truck in Barhad area. Five people including two women and a child died on the spot while four others were severely injured in the accident.
All the injured were rushed to the nearby hospital from where four of them referred to Allahabad, police said adding that deceased were yet to be identified.UNI
