AK Mittal's tenure as NBCC CMD extended by 1 year

New Delhi, Mar 31: Dr Anoop Kumar Mittal was given one-year extension as the Chairman and Managing Director, National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) with effect from April 1.

'The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for extension in tenure of AK Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), NBCC (India) Limited for a period of one year wef 01-04-2018, or until further orders, whichever is earlier,' an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
'Necessary communication in this regard has been sent to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs,' the order added.
Dr Mittal was appointed as the CMD of the NBCC in 2013. UNI
