Udhampur has witnessed unprecedented development: Khajuria

Udhampur, Mar 28: BJP State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria interacted with the media persons in a press conference held at party office, Udhampur, in which he stated the achievements pertaining to the development of Udhampur particularly highlighting the laudable works being done by Union MoS in PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh.

Pawan Khajuria said that the record developments have been done in historic town of Udhampur. He referred to the roads being constructed under the PMGSY and CRF. He said that the extent of the work being done for the development has been exemplary on the records on the measures of quality and the quantity. He pointed that the quality of roads in the past always remained questionable for the reasons best known to the earlier governments.

Khajuria contributed the 170.5 crore rupees Devika Project to the kitty of Union Minister. The work on DPR is being on the final touches. The work on the functioning of Radio Station is initiated. He stated that the Udhampur has gained the name as the first district to have district level Passport office.

He said that the Dr. Jitendra Singh has always remained on the forefront for the help of state residents outside the state for the admissions in colleges, hospital facilities or anything else. Udhampur has witnessed unprecedented development under BJP regime, he asserted.

On the question asked about the refugees of Saddal village, he said that the entire area is damaged and it has been declared unsafe in the opinion of the experts, due to which, any colony is not possible there. Dr. Jitendra Singh has asked the district officials to look for another safe place so that a safe colony can be made to rehabilitate them. He said that the BJP does not believe in votebank politics whether it be the central government or coalition government of the state. He said that the BJP always does politics on agenda of development.

Udhampur Mandal President Vikas Pachyala, Tikri Malad Mandal President Karnail Singh, Udhampur Mandal General Secretary Sanjay Verma, Jagannu Mandal general secretary Ajay Singh, Jib Mandal General Secretary Avinash, Milkhi Ram from State Advisory Board for SC were among the prominent leaders present in the meeting.
