‘North east states also accepted BJP’s model of development’

Kulgam, March 03: After two- days brainstorming sammelan in different constituencies in north Kashmir’s Baramulla and Kupwara districts, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul organized ‘Booth Workers Sammelan’ in south Kashmir’s Devsar constituency of Kulgam district, on Saturday.

 Terming the ‘Booth Workers Sammelan’ as the major boast for party activities, and workers as the face of the party in the public, Kaul reiterated party workers to work hard to strengthen the party cadre at the grass root level by organizing door to door campaign.

Kaul was the chief guest on the occasion, where scores of booth level party workers of the area attended the sammelan, which was organized by Mohammad Yousuf Malik- constituency president Devsar.

 “Holding the Sammelan of grass root level party workers shows the importance of booth level workers in strengthening the party,” he said, adding, every worker should work extensively on every single booth to ensure maximum participation of people in the party fold.

While greeting BJP for landslide victory in Tripura, Kaul expressed happiness that BJP like in other parts of country- was blooming in every constituency in Kashmir also.

Kaul told party workers to intensify the party activities and highlight the achievements of Narendra Modi led NDA Government at the Centre and BJP coalition in the state. “North east states have also accepted the BJP’s developmental model. Similarly, we should take benefit from the different schemes meant for general public,” he said.

Kaul added party workers are the ambassadors’ and without any discrimination with region and religion BJP is equally working for the welfare of all sections of society.

Ghulam Nabi Dar, district president Kulgam provided detailed feedback of party activities to the Ashok Kaul.

Present on the occasion were Organising Secretary South Kashmir, Veer Saraf, Protocol Incharge Kashmir Arif Raja, District General Secretaries Kulgam- Manzoor Kulgami and Abid Hussain and others.
