Mumbai, Feb 9: Once again the BSE sensex heavily down by 526 points to 33,886.86 on Friday in early trade amid global sell
off.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped by 170.01 points to 10,406.80 in early trade.
Surging by 330 points yesterday, the sensex dropped in early trade as heavy selling was seen in Energy, FMCG, Finance, IT, Telecom, Auto and Bankex stocks.
In intra day it crashed by 564 points to 33,849.20 day low.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,017.73 and 33,849.65 respectively.
Even Nifty too lost by 176 points to intra day low at 10,398.20.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,453.90 and 10,398.20 respectively. In scrips, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Yes Bank and Adfani Ports declined.
The losers were ICICI Bank by 3.26 pc to Rs 323.65, Axis Bank by 2.53 pc to Rs 554.10, Adani Ports by 2.47 pc to Rs 395 and Yes Bank by 2.13 pc to Rs 327.90.
The gainer were Tata Steel by 0.73 pc to Rs 676.25, Asian Paints by 0.32 pc to Rs 1127.5 and Coal India by 0.23 pc to Rs 300.80. UNI
