New Delhi, Feb 9: Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu on Friday informed the House that a member
of the House A V Swamy collapsed in Parliament and has been rushed to a
hospital.
He was rushed in an ambulance to a hospital, the Chairman
informed the members .
When the Rajya Sabha resumed for the Question Hour, Mr Naidu said that the member from Odisha had fallen down and had been rushed for treatment.
Whether it was due to sugar level or some other reason, it is yet to be ascertained, he added.
Mr Swamy is an independent member since April 2012. He was a disciple of social reformer Vinoba Bhave and has been engaged in social work. UNI
