New Delhi, Feb 3: Describing the results of the Rajasthan bypolls as a signal of the common man's anger over the non-fulfillment of the promises made by the NDA government at the Centre, senior BJP leader and film actor Shatrughan Sinha on Saturday said it was time for the ruling party to shed its arrogance.
In a post on the social media, Sinha said it was a matter of time before the common man realises that he has been promised the 'unachievable moon' in the Union Budget for 2018-19, presented in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
'Feedback on the most discussed budget and for kind information, perusal & broadcasting sir - When the hurly burly of budget shall be over and the Aam Aadmi realises that he has been promised the unachievable moon, Rajasthan shall state that Aam Aadmi has started to speak.
'Clearly, time to retrospect, isn’t it 'Savdhan Arjun Savdhan'. Lets shed our arrogance and wake up!' Mr Sinha said in a tweet.
The ruling BJP in Rajasthan lost the Lok Sabha bypolls in Alwer and Ajmer as well as the Assembly by election in Mandalgarh. UNI
