New Delhi, Feb 9: BJP president Amit Shah said on Friday that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi's style of working was undemocratic and hence there were disruptions during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reply to President's address in both the Houses of Parliament.
After BJP Parliamentary Party meet, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar told reporters that in the meeting, 'Amit Shah ji said Rahul ji's style of politics is undemocratic, hence such kind of disruptions during the speech of PM Modi.'
On Congress reiterating its demand for details of the agreement with France under which India is procuring 36 Rafale fighter jets in ready-to-use condition, Mr Kumar said the main points have already been revealed and all details cannot be revealed keeping country's security in mind.
'We have already revealed the main points of Rafale deal and will tell more but it's a bit difficult to talk about particular component as it is not good for the country,' he said, adding that the same was repeated by Mr Shah.
Congress has claimed that there were irregularities in the nearly Rs 58,000-crore deal, alleging the Narendra Modi Government was procuring jets at a price higher than the one negotiated by the UPA Government as part of the Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) deal. The UPA was negotiating a deal with France to procure 126 Rafale fighter jets, along with a transfer of technology, but the same could not be finalised. UNI
