Islamabad, Feb 10: Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance bilateral relations for peace and stability besides discussing matters of mutual interest, prospects of future cooperation in different areas. 
The understanding was reached at a meeting between National Security Adviser Nasir Khan Janjua and Iran's Ambassador Mehdi Honardost here, a report published in Radio Pakistan on Saturday said.
The Iranian Ambassador said that mutual cooperation is the only way to achieve sustainable peace in the region.
Mr Janjua said that Islamabad will continue to play a constructive and balanced role in the future as well. UNI
