New Delhi, Feb 8: The national capital woke up to a misty, chilly morning on Thursday with minimum temperature dropping to 4 points, lesser than normal at 5.5 degrees C.
However, the air quality in the city remained 'poor' with the index value of 273 at 1000 hours , as per the Central Pollution Control Board.
A total of 15 trains got cancelled here due to operational reasons and fog position in the NCR and other regions, according to the Railways.
Sky, that was partly cloudy in the early hours will be mainly clear during the day, while the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 24 deg C, the weatherman said.
Humidity at around 0830 hours pegged at 89 per cent, the Met official added.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature settled at 24.1 deg C, a notch above normal for the season. UNI
