Panaji, Feb 17: Airports Authority of India (AAI) Chairman Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra inaugurated
Airport Help Desk/Information Centre at Goa International Airport at Dabolim in
South Goa on Friday.
According to a statement here, the Help Desk/Information Centre was part of AAI's efforts to add new facilities to improve overall efficiency of airport operations for the benefit of passengers and all the stakeholders working at Goa Airport.
Airports Authority of India has awarded an expenditure contract of Rs 59,73,204 for operation and management of help desk for passenger facilitation and reserve lounges at Goa Airport. A dedicated Help Desk with flight information display and computer system to get latest flight information will be available at the Help Desk.
A dedicated help line number which will be operational round the clock will be launched soon. The number will be widely circulated for information. Total 23 outsourced manpower will be deployed with five per shift round the clock for passenger assistance and operation of Help Desk, the statement said. UNI
