Kalaburgi, Karnataka,
Feb 26: Hitting out at Siddaramaiah government in Karnataka, BJP National
President Amit Shah on Sunday dubbed it as “a corrupt, malicious and
oppressive” regime and asked the people to “root it out” in the upcoming
Assembly poll.
Addressing a SC/ST Convention here, Mr Shah alleged that the
Siddaramaiah government is the most corrupt government in the history of
Karnataka. The Chief Minister wore costliest watch and it was said to be ‘gift
‘ by some one.
Mr Shah said that according to a survey, the law and order situation in Karnataka was worst ever, the government data itself said that there were 980 SC/ST atrocity cases registered in the State last year and
of it, 800 cases were on ST women and Rape cases. Only 380 cases were solved, this shows that the SC/ST and other lower caste people were not secure in the state.
Mr Shah alleged that he (Mr Siddaramaiah) is not implementing the Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the state. UNI
