Chennai, Jan 1: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday extended New Year greetings to President Ram Nath
Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
In separate letters, the Chief Minister wished them and their
family a very happy new year and also sent a bouquet of flowers to
them.
In his letter to the President, he said 'on behalf of the Government and the people of Tamil Nadu, I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year, 2018.'
'I pray God Almighty to give you strength to serve the Nation”, he added.
In his greetings to the Vice President, Mr Palaniswami said “I am very happy to convey my hearty greetings and good wishes to you and your family on the occasion of New Year, 2018.”
In his greetings to Mr Modi, he said “on behalf of the Government and the people of Tamil Nadu, I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year, 2018.'
'I pray God Almighty to grant you many more years of good health to serve the Nation.”
In his greetings to the Governor, he said “I have great pleasure in conveying my best wishes and greetings to you and your family for a very Happy New Year, 2018.” UNI
