Patna, Jan 24: Soon after the special CBI court convicted RJD chief Lalu Prasad in yet another case of fodder scam today, his son and former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav held Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar more responsible than BJP in hatching conspiracy to implicate him in fodder scam on the basis of fabricated evidence.
Mr Yadav, reacting over conviction of Mr Prasad in yet another case of fodder scam by special CBI court of Ranchi, told media persons here that Mr Kumar was more responsible than BJP in hatching conspiracy to implicate Lalu in the case. It was an open secret that Mr Prasad was the 'hero' of the people of Bihar and Mr Kumar was apprehensive of his growing popularity and putting him behind the bars was testimony to this fact so that he could not face a political threat from such a strong leader having wide mass base in Bihar, he added.
" Mr Kumar often visits New Delhi, not for seeking support to accelerate the pace of development of Bihar but to hatch conspiracy on how to keep Mr Prasad entangled in one case after the other to put him behind bars for a long period", Mr Yadav said adding that Mr Kumar and BJP were aiming to hold Lok Sabha elections in December 2018 and a series of troubles being created for Mr Prasad is reflection of their mood for holding early elections. UNI
