Ahmedabad, Jan 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his visiting friend and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu undertook a roadshow here on Wednesday.
Heavy security prevailed in the city with deployment of large number of personnel even on high rise buildings. At some critical locations, there was deployment of Israeli security officials also.
After the roadshow, both the leaders, also accompanied by Mrs Sara Netanyahu, visited Sabarmati Ashram to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. The visiting guests were also seen spinning the wheel.
During his day-long stay in Ahmedabad, Mr Netanyahu along with Mr Modi will also inaugurate an incubation centre near Ahmedabad.
Later in the evening, Israel PM would depart for Mumbai. UNI
