Mamata remembers Marxist patriarch Jyoti Basu on his 7th

Kolkata, Jan 17: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today paid tributes to former Chief Minister and Marxist patriarch Jyoti Basu on his seventh death anniversary.

"Solemnly remembering former Chief Minister Jyoti Basu on his death anniversary," Ms Banerjee Tweeted.
The Marxist leader , who ended Congress rule in West Bengal in late 60s and finally ousted in late 70s, was born as Jyotirindra Basu on July 8, 1914; and ruled the state for five consecutive terms, died on this day in 2010. UNI
