Delhi, Jan 1: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday lauded the role
of officers and personnel of para military forces, police and other security
force personnel for their hard work and sacrifice in ensuring peace and harmony
in the country.
In a twitter and video message, Mr Singh also extended good
wishes for the new year to the the "brave soldiers and officers"."An atmosphere of peace and tranquility has prevailed in the country due to work of para military forces, police and other security force personnel," he wrote in a twitter missive in Hindi.
On Sunday, December 31, Home Minister visited forward ITBP post in Uttarakhand to spend time with ITBP personnel and their families.
"Had a wonderful interaction with the families of @ITBP_official jawans at Matli in Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand) on the eve of new year. The families of our jawans give them strength and necessary support to secure the boundaries of our great nation," he said in a tweet later. UNI
