Jan 24: Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief and Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz
Saeed has approached the Lahore High Court seeking protection from his arrest,
alleging that Pakistani government wants to arrest him at the behest of the
United States and India.
Anticipating a possible action against him, Saeed on Tuesday
filed the petition through his counsel A K Dogar in Lahore Court seeking its
direction to the Pakistani government restraining it from arresting him,
according to a report published in Pakistan Daily Dawn News.Saeed alleged a delegation of the United Nations was due in the country on Friday (January 26) and the government intended to take an 'adverse action' against him during the team's stay. UNI
